On its 10th anniversary, the Foundation for Research on Biodiversity (FRB) launched a joint appeal with its partners: “It’s up to us all collectively to help biodiversity: our common future depends on it.”
The scientific studies are clear. The decline of biodiversity is accelerating. This observation, relayed by the recent IPBES regional assessments, underlines how urgent it is to implement solutions to halt the collapse. Science is indispensable for supporting these efforts and encouraging social and economic behaviour less detrimental to – or even favourable to – biodiversity.
This is the message that the Foundation for Research on Biodiversity and its partners want to transmit.
