40 Conservation Coaches from all over Europe gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, last weekend, for a rally organized by the Coaches’ Conservation Network of Europe (CCNet Europe).
Dr Lisa Ernoul, coordinator of the “Management and restoration of Natural and Agricultural ecosystems” theme at Tour du Valat, actively took part in the event as a member of the CCNet.
CCNet-trained conservation coaches lead, mentor and support conservation project teams in applying the Standards for Conservation, developing effective conservation strategies and evaluating project success.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with coaches working on conservation planning. The network also organized a training course for 30 new coaches.
