With Dylan Jones, YEW’s Conservation Policy Officer, Hugo Ferreira attended the 59th Standing Committee of the Convention on Wetlands in Switzerland at the end of May, thanks to the support of Tour du Valat. |
At this meeting, the draft “The Youth Resolution” (Resolution on Strengthening Ramsar Connections Through Youth) was officially presented for the first time with the support of the Governments of Australia and Costa Rica. This resolution will be discussed before approval at the 14th Conference of the Parties.
Hugo Ferreira had the opportunity to express himself many times, especially before the presentation of the resolution and also with a closing speech. |
