Article – The next generation of site-based long-term ecological monitoring: Linking essential biodiversity variables and ecosystem integrity

This article has been published in the Science of the Total Environment journal.

It proposes a common framework regarding the long-term research and monitoring of the biodiversity of terrestrial, coastal and freshwater ecosystems, based on the example of two international initiatives, the International Long-Term Ecological Research (ILTER) and the Group on Earth Observations Biodiversity Observation Network (GEO BON).

You can access it online, as well as its abstract, through the opposite link.
