Costas Kaloudis, former Executive Director of the Ionian Environment Foundation, and Xenia Tombrou, Communications Officer for the Save Erimitis campaign, are currently striving to protect the Erimitis wetlands. The “Save Erimitis” campaign aims to protect the wetlands of Corfu (Greece) from the tourist development of the “Kassiopi Project”, which would build villas and roads that would destroy the still intact wetlands on which both local people and species depend.
