To close the evening, Pauline Rocarpin, project coordinator, led a guided listening and observation session focused on the chiropterans.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46300\"  class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-46300 size-blog-small\" src=\"https:\/\/tourduvalat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/202028_Festival-Camargue@A.Marquis-TdV-12-640x395.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"395\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span>Participatory monitoring setup<\/span> \u00a9 Ars\u00e8ne Marquis-Soria<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Visit to the Raph\u00e8le marshes: discovering a Mediterranean peatland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guided by Gr\u00e9goire Massez, curator of the Raph\u00e8le Marshes, Antoine Gazaix, peat specialist, and a member of staff from SYMCRAU, participants visited part of this peatland, usually closed to the public, which is home to many rare and threatened plant species.<\/p>\n<p>Following the canals, the 6-kilometre tour offered a journey through this little-known wetland, exploring its history, functioning, and natural treasures.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46292\"  class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-46292 size-blog-small\" src=\"https:\/\/tourduvalat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20255_Festival-Camargue_Raphele@Elisa-FEL-640x395.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"395\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span>Antoine Gazaix in front of a peat core<\/span> \u00a9 Elisa FEL<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Radio Panel: &#8220;How can hunting and biodiversity coexist?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Camargue, hunting plays a unique role in the management of natural areas.
