40 Conservation Coaches from all over Europe gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, last weekend, for a rally organized by the Coaches\u2019 Conservation Network of Europe (CCNet Europe).<\/h3>\n

Dr Lisa Ernoul, coordinator of the \u201cManagement and restoration of Natural and Agricultural ecosystems\u201d theme at Tour du Valat, actively took part in the event as a member of the CCNet.<\/p>\n

CCNet-trained conservation coaches lead, mentor and support conservation project teams in applying the Standards for Conservation, developing effective conservation strategies and evaluating project success.<\/p>\n

The event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with coaches working on conservation planning. The network also organized a training course for 30 new coaches.<\/p>\n
