Thanks to the collaboration of researchers and practitioners from multiple disciplines ranging from philosophy to ecology and political science, this book offers a concrete vision of the implementation of this approach through the reading of health issues and problems in a globalized world. The opening chapter reviews the progressive development of studies applying the One Health approach carried out by the Tour du Valat since the early 2000s.
