With Dylan Jones, YEW’s Conservation Policy Officer, Hugo Ferreira attended the 59th Standing Committee of the Convention on Wetlands<\/a> in Switzerland at the end of May, thanks to the support of Tour du Valat.<\/td>\n\n

At this meeting, the draft “The Youth Resolution” (Resolution on Strengthening Ramsar Connections Through Youth<\/a>) was officially presented for the first time with the support of the Governments of Australia and Costa Rica. This resolution will be discussed before approval at the 14th Conference of the Parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
