Research interests and expertise
At the interface between environmental research and management, my work aims to improve the effectiveness of conservation. I work on international conservation projects and develop research on the human dimensions of environmental management throughout the Mediterranean Basin.
More specifically, I am interested in the values and perceptions of the different populations concerning management, decision making, and conservation.
After my initial degrees in agricultural sciences and natural resources, I specialised in the social sciences and obtained a PhD in human geography at Aix-Marseille University, France.
