Article – Hierarchical habitat selection by Eurasian Pygmy Owls Glaucidium passerinum in old-growth forests of the southern French Prealps

It stresses the importance to maintain or restore old-growth mixed forests dominated by firs in the French southern Prealps, which provide critical habitats for the Eurasian Pigmy Owl, at its low latitude range limit.
