This article was published in May 2018 in the Ecology journal.
It highlights the influence of oceanic cycles on the survival of marine birds taking into example the Nazca Booby Sula granti in the Galapagos islands, where the survival of adult populations is affected by the El Niño oscillation as well as inter-decadal oscillations in the Pacific.
