Training workshop on “Ecological wetland restoration” for wetland managers and practitioners
This training workshop, organised by Tour du Valat [1], with the support of MedWet, in the framework of the project “Strengthening the restoration of Mediterranean Wetlands for nature and people”, coordinated by WWF Spain and financed by MAVA Foundation took place from 20 to 22 June 2022, in virtual (streaming and recorded) including “virtual field visits”.
The participants were wetland managers and technicians from different restoration sites around the Mediterranean basin.

The following topics were covered during the training:

- Three site visits (Former saltworks, temporary marshes of Camargue and Cassaïre)
