11th meeting of the Mediterranean Wetlands Committee
On the side-lines of the Ramsar Convention COP, the main stakeholders involved in Mediterranean wetlands –country representatives, international organisations, and NGOs will meet to decide the future development of the MedWet Initiative in the light of the results of the Agadir symposium (see above) and to validate the 2013-2015 work plan.

The 11th session of the Ramsar Convention Conference of Contracting Parties (COP11) will take place in Bucharest, Romania from 6 to 13 July 2012. The theme chosen by the Permanent Committee is “wetlands, tourism and recreation”.
