This collection of interviews with Jil Silberstein draws the portrait of the founder of the Tour du Valat, who has devoted his entire life to protecting nature. You will follow him along his journey, from Basel, Switzerland, where he was born, to Spain, Austria, Madagascar, Mauritania, and finally the Camargue where he now lives.
Luc Hoffmann also instigated the Ramsar Convention on wetlands, and participated in the founding of several nature conservation NGOs, including the WWF.
