Following the death of Luc Hoffmann on July 21s t 2016, and his funeral held in Switzerland on July 26th, an event is planned in Camargue to pay tribute to him and to celebrate his remarkable life’s achievements.
A memorial Celebration will take place at 11.00 on Friday August 19th 2016, at Tour du Valat in Camargue, the place where it all began, where Luc Hoffmann settled more than 70 years ago, where he raised his family and where he initiated his life’s work to build a peaceful and respectful relationship between Man and Nature.

BUS A10 (departure in front of the station, about 30 meters): 2 departures in the morning:
- 08h00: From Arles to go down to the village of Sambuc: arrival at 08h40.
- 09h00: From Arles to go down to the village of Sambuc: arrival at 09h40.
Ask the driver to stop at “Le Sambuc”. A shuttle will drive you between the village and the Tour du Valat.
