Participatory project in a collectively managed marshland

Nature excursions
13 May 2026

The Verdier Marshes were developed over a period of fifty years for carp and pikeperch farming. Since its acquisition in 2003 and the creation of the association in 2004, the 120 hectares are now managed to promote the high ecological value of the site, while developing activities in a spirit of collective cooperation and consultation. Thus, horse and cow grazing, scientific monitoring, hunting, nature discovery and artistic activities are offered there.

During the Camargue and Rhône Delta Festival, we invite you to participate in the management of this marsh by taking part in a collective project. Contribute to the management of a natural area, discover its history and meet the volunteers who bring it to life all year round. A friendly drink will be offered at the end of the project.
